Biography

I am an assistant professor in in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Kyungpook National University. I received my Ph.D. in Department of Convergence IT Engineering from POSTECH where I was advised by Prof. Hwanjo Yu. My research focuses on developing robust deep learning models that can effectively handle data imperfections encountered across diverse data modalities, including time series, molecular graphs, network graphs, images, and natural language. I aim to advance knowledge-integrated learning that reliably overcomes imperfect data by bridging AI methodologies with domain expertise to tackle real-world challenges in science, medicine, and industry.
